    Hi everybody,

    hopes somebody may help me.

I had Windows 8.1 in my pc with many instability and performance problems (Samsung said the fault was the drivers that doesn't exist for 8.1).

Now I installed Windows 7 (the former correct S.O.).

Everything is fine, perfect and very very fast (more than 8.1).

I have a strange issue yet.

The CPU and GPU, in idle, are about 50°.

And, most important, when the setting is "BALANCED" and the computer is in idle, it is very silent but it gets warm in the keyboard (with 8.1 it was loudy but always cool).

The strange is that, in GAME MODE, the keyboard is cool (maybe for the fan that speed fast?).

    So my question is:

Why in BALANCED/LIBRARY/ECO the keyboard is warm and in GAME MODE the keyboard is cool?

There's something I can do for help the BALANCED MODE to being cool as the GAME MODE?

    Hope somebody will help me

    Hi Pipppero2007,

That Mode Dial is unique to the G7A and G7C models, and I think only other owners of these models can answer your question (I am not one of them). There is a better chance they will see your question in the NP700G7C Owners Lounge. If you want us to move your post there, just let us know. Otherwise you can post again there after 24 hours (or bump this thread).

I notice you posted there some time ago about Win8.1 and got answers. BTW, it's good to hear that Win7 is working better for you.

I would imagine it might be due to the fact that the fans are spinning up when on game mode and it's doing a better job of cooling? I never took mine out of game mode so I'm not sure if the G7C did that as well.

Could you be so kind to make it for me?
I mean, switching it in "Balance mode" and wait 10 minutes or less and tell me if in the center of the keyboard and in the right-upper part above the mouse-pad there is warm.
I am satisfied of the silent (more than Windows 8) but little afraid for this warmth.
PS: curious that you always been in Game Mode. When in Windows 8 I was almost always in Balance mode (exept for gaming)!

My G7C gets to 96f at the "G" key, down to 85f at the caps lock and PgDn was at 78f.

    Thank you very much.
Now the computer is cooler (but not as Windows 8 was).
BTW, since I never accuse crash or something for now is ok.
