    Hello everyone,
I have a Samsung laptop NP-R70. It has a HDD of 120GB. Since this is becoming too small for my needs I want to upgrade to a bigger capacity. However, before I go out and buy a bigger HDD I want to make sure that it can handle 250GB of HDD. On the factory manual does not say what is the maximum capacity that this laptop can take. However, as far as I know some models were shipped with a 160GB HDD.

Can you please inform me on this issue? Will it be able to take a 250GB HDD?
    Thanks in advance.

The R70 is new enough that it should have no problem with 250GB or even 500GB.

The specifications here mention 200GB. The specs also say SATA, but it would be prudent to check the model number and spec of your existing HDD to be sure it is SATA (if not SATA then your upper limit is the 250GB).
