Hey guys. Here's my (first ever) review of the Samsung N110 after 1 day of use.

    SPECS:
    Intel® Atom™ Processor N270 (1.6GHz) 533MHz FSB with 512KB Cache
    1GB DDR2 800MHz RAM
    10.1" WSVGA Glare (1024 x 600) SuperBright© Gloss LED Display
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with 128MB memory
    HD Audio
1.3 Mega Pixel Digital Motion Camera
    Atheros® Wifi 802.11b.g
    Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR
    160GB SATA HDD
    Silver Nano technology (Anti-Bacterial Keyboard)
    6 Cell Lithium ion 5200mAh 40 watts
    272 x 188.5 x 29.8mm
    1.26kg
3 in 1 Card Reader (SD, SDHC, MMC)

    Build, Design, Keypad and Touchpad:

I have the Pearl White N110 and it has a nice near-matte finish to it. When closed, it's very compact and sleek and is raised a little due to the 6-cell battery. Inside, the keys are 17.7mm apart, which seems fine, thought it takes a bit to get used to as it's a 93% size keyboard. The touchpad is nicely done, with enough space to move your finger on, and the mouse is, what looks like, one single bar that has a bar under the middle, separating it into the right and left click buttons.

    Screen and Speakers:

The screen has a native resolution of 1024x600, and can go down to 800x600 thought it becomes a little stretched. There are 9 different brightness settings, the max being quite bright, and the lowest still being viewable even in the dark. The speakers are very good, and quite loud on this netbook. It scales well with 26 different settings for the volume.

    Features and Ports

On the left side, there is:

    Power port
    LAN port
    2 USB ports

On the right side, there is:

    1 USB port
    Headphone and Microphone jacks
    VGA port
    Kensington notebook lock port

    In the center, there is:

    3-in-1 card reader

    Battery

The N110 has a VERY nice battery life, with about 9 hours 30 minutes on the lowest battery life and max battery saving setting. I get about 5 hours 30 minutes on max performance and full brightness, and that goes down to about 4 hours 10 minutes when I plug in my external DVD drive and watch a movie.

    Heat and Conclusion

It hardly gives out any heat when on my lap, and on the desk it feels cool or slightly warm to the touch, even when it is 30C inside.

I Like this netbook a lot, and it's only been one day. I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10

    Pros: Battery life, Size, Functionality
Cons: Right shift key is too small, keyboard takes a bit getting used to.

On wPrime 32M, it got 135.749 seconds

Thanks for reading. First review, be kind :p
