    Samsung N-R580I shuts down when Rendering

    When ever I try to render with Sony Vegas 9 or 10 on my computer the system processes shut down and the computer turns off. I know other people that render too and they have worse computers than I do and they are still able to render fine. I have a Intel i3 Core Processor, Quad Core. Here are my system specs -

    What temperatures are you getting? Run HWiNFO32, select sensors then enable logging to let it to write results to a log file, then do your rendering. If your computer shuts down then the last entry in the file will show the final temperature (within 2 to 3 seconds before the shut down). HWiNFO32 may also report the CPU package power.

    How new is the computer? If it is more than a few months old then it might have sucked in enough fluff to partly clog the cooling system, particularly if the computer has any air intakes on the bottom.
