I'vejust got an update for Easy Settings on my Chronos, now it's version 1.1.1.2. I've some issues caused by the update:
    - when I use the fn button+Fnumber no pop-up is shown.
    - brightness (F2, F3), silent mode(F11), eject (DEL) don't work,volume does (F6, F7, F8).
    - Easy Settings doesn't show up if I press fn+F1.

anyone with the same issue or a solution?

    Thanks

To add, the earliest versions of Easy Settings had this problem. I don't know if they fixed them in later updates and then broke it in 1.1.1.2 or if I had somehow changed the startup parameters to resolve the issue and the install of 1.1.1.2 reverted those.

Long story short, installing 1.1.1.2 brought this issue back for me and I now have to terminate the dmhkcore process each time I login.

I opened your link but sadly I don't have any dmhkcore.exe in the folder Easy settings.
And not even the process running.

Restart to see if it is working again or not. For some reason, if something cause Windows hang or explorer restart itself, or might be some Easy Settings related processes disappear, then it won't show any indication or animation at all, despit e it is still working.

    Hi there
I'm having excactly the same issues as you describe & do not have dmhkcore.exe either. Did you ever get to the bottom of the problem?
    Thanks

Not at all. Everything is still not working. I'm thinking of getting the previous version of easy settings and wait for further updates.

Hmmm, strangely after I posted the question if you still had the problem, I received a notification of an Easy Settings update through Easy Software Manager. I figured I had nothing to lose so I updated it & now the pop-ups & function keys all work as they should. I've taken a look & strangely I still seem to be on version 1.1.1.2, even though the logs clearly show I have had an update.
Maybe it's worth considering re-installing if you can. Good luck!

Just did the update myself, now it's working perfectly. Mine seems to be version 1.1.1.4.

I am on version 1.2.2.something. I can't find easy settings in all programs or the program files. It is just gone and doesn't even show up in the easy software manager. This is extremely frustrating and reinstalling easy software manager does not work. Please help.
