    He deleted the partition?
I don't think a driver CD would help.

I think you have to repartition it I dunno how since I haven't seen anyone done it yet. Mainly those who did reformat didn't delete the expresscache partition. I guess only thing I could say is
Make a partition for it and split the windows?
I'm just assuming since I don't think anyone knows what Samsung put into the expresscache.

PS I havent' gotten it yet still need to pick it up.

Did you try pressing F4 at the BIOS screen? That will get you to the factory image which is in a hidden partition.

    Every partition is gone!

Can someone tell me the exact name of the correkt working ExpressCache drive and the format?
Maybe the programm is recognizing it by its self.

this is how you solve the problem
i just solve the problem for mine. it should be the same for you.
uninstall the easy settings. install easy software manager (download if don't have it.)
run easy software manager go to driver, it will list all the driver for the chorons 7 only. look for the express cache that the driver for caching.
also don't forget to install the sound driver. that will give you the subwoofer.

I have the same problem. I formated the c: drive, but I didn't delete any other partitions. I can see that the express cache drive is there, but it is not used (100% free). I have searched the samsung web site for the drivers, but can't find it. I have installed easy software manager, but it only lists 3 drivers: Intel ME Interface Driver, Lan Driver and USB 3.0 driver. Elf4U do you see lots of drivers here?? Do you know the name of the driver?

I ended up using the recovery cd. I then upgraded to windows ultimate which was my goal.

One question. It's seems like there is two graphic cards in this laptop. Will it automatically switch between the two? Can I check which one is used?

Did anyone manage to solve this problem yet? I'm currently in the same situation as cake4k, and cannot connect to the server with the Samsung Software Center. I've deleted all partitions from the HDD, and reinstalled Windows from the Samsung Recovery Media DVD.

I don't see how people from the US are actually able to connect, perhaps they're connecting to different servers? What also might be relevant, I've installed my new Windows in English and installed all the Samsung Software in English as well, so I doubt it'd have to do with languages as was mentioned earlier.

I also have the same issue as cake4k and Thained. Has anyone figured out the correct format for the express cache?

    It also happened to me!
I tried fat32 NTFS and HFS+. None of them work!
When I run the diskeeper command "CCmd" (you can find it under the expresscache setup folder and it has the partition and format command for expresscache disk), it says "HFS volume is not mounted".
But after I format the SSD to HFS, it still reports the same error!!!
