The Samsung Chromebook from Google IO just arrived on the same day my aging MacBook Air upgraded to Lion. New hardware pretty much always beats new software. So far, while Lion is nice looking, it has pummeled the speed on my Air, taken an hour+ to upgrade OS X mail, and since rebooting, looks like it'll be 30 minutes more until Disk Utility is done repairing. So at least for today, ChromeOS is up. I'm resisting getting too distracted however, so I am staying on the CR-48 until later tonight.
