Hello! Great forum y'all have here. Learning a lot about everything Samsung, but have a question I couldn't find the answer to. Recently bought a new Ativ 6 from Amazon, and have realized the touchpad is basically 50% usable. Half the time I try to use it, it doesn't register any gesture. Be it scrolling, pointing, tapping, or "clicking" on the touchpad, nothing happens. I have updated the driver using the SW Update tool, but that did exactly nothing for my problem. Any others out there successfully deal with this issue?

Other than that, this is a great laptop, aside from the marginally slow 5400rpm HDD.

Thanks, hope to be around here more often.

Our cumulative knowledge about taming the Elan touchpad is encapsulated in this thread.

Did you find the sensitivity control?

Thank you. I will persue that thread. I actually found one of your posts regarding the touchpad, and used the Details tab from the task manager to up the priority of the ETD processes. That seemed to help a little. Will have to see how that pans out. Thank you for the response.
