    Hi there

    Short story:
I tried to create a dual boot system using GPT/UEFI on the Samsung 900X3C. At the end I manually edited the UEFI boot options stored in the NVRAM using the UEFI Shell and eventually broke/replaced the entry for starting the BIOS Setup (Entry #0). As a result, I am no more able to get into the BIOS and change settings.

Can someone with a Samsung 900X3C running Linux please run the following command as root and dump the output:

    # efibootmgr -v

    It shoul
    d return something like this:

    # efibootmgr -v
    BootCurrent: 0008
    Timeout: 0 seconds
    BootOrder: 0008,0000,0003,0006,0004,0005,

The record "Boot0000" is the one that is most likely different and probably the one that is magically linked to the [F2] button when starting the laptop. I hope that I can restore its original function a become able to get into the BIOS again.

    Thanks for saving my life.
