    Hi everyone

So, today my wife's 13" Series 9 developed "by itself" about 20 pixel long vertical line of bad pixels.

Does anyone know what is the model number for the 13" 1366x768 LCD in NP900X3A?

Is there any service manual or maybe screen replacement guide or video? I have already upgraded memory in this laptop but so I know how to partially disassemble it but I don't have a clue how to disassemble the display bezel.

In other news my 11" Series 9 keyboard is rubbing on the screen a little (when it is closed) so there are worn out spots developing on my LCD as well. Bummer.

Sorry for bumping it up, but I hope somebody will notice it this time.
Does any know what is the NP900X3A LCD part number please? Has anyone disassembled the display cover, any photos? Videos?
There are some displays from sellers that claim they are for NP900X3A on eBay but the prices are ridiculous, $1000 for LCD, I can buy another laptop for that and have a lot of beer money left over.

Sorry i cannot help with the LCD but I believe I saw np900x3a came with a 3 year warranty. You should probably check if your warranty is still valid.

This screen supplier quotes $90, but has no stock. The price here is incredulous. Note that the NP900X3A was also sold as the ZX310 in some markets and this site indicates that the QX310 uses the same panel.

Thanks for the hint about ZX310 and QX310, there are more hits on Google for them and it looks like
    Samsung LTN133AT21 in QX310, glossy
and LG LP133WH1 (also glossy) may fit.
It looks like LTN133AT series differ with display finish (matte, glossy etc) and other params so maybe I can find matte one.

Does anyone have any clue how to crack the top cover open to replace the display? I don't see any screws, is the bezel glued on?

    akheron,
Thanks, I will check the warranty but I doub't dead pixels developing that late are covered under that, and they would probably say it is physical damage.

It is most likely glued. Some of the other recent Samsung notebooks are reported to have glued bezels than the thickness (thinness) doesn't provide room for screws. You may need a new bezel.

There's no harm in asking. Samsung are trying to convince us that the Series 9 are durable and physical damage is more likely to affect an area, not a line. You may need to persist with their support people to get through to someone who understands this.

Hi, I am currently having the same problem and was wondering how you pursued this? Did you replace it? Did you use the screen thought to be compatible, also did you have to get a new bezel? Thank you!

For reference, I do not believe any of the other stated LCD's will work.
The LG model , the circuit board is on the back of the lcd where the 900x is on the bottom of the LCD and the video cable connector will most likely not reach where it needs to go to. not to mention the depth of the LG may be too great.
The QX310/ZX etc, they look closer to the exact model but the video connector looks to be on the right side of the inverter whereas the 900x is on the left, I can provide pictures of the lcd from the 900x if anyone would like.
Also the removal of the screen was not as complicated as expected, he bezel peels right off by fingers then 6 small screws to remove pre-stripped out by Samsung, the 2 connectors and then removal of the lcd which is glued in by a double sided tape.

    Hi everybody,

I have also the problem, that my LCD screen is broken.
I have already removed it from the Laptop and only found a number like LSN133AT01, but I am unable to find such a display.
Were you able to replace your display?

LSN133AT01 is the model that I got directly off of my broken screen. How do you remove it without cracking it into pieces, or is this inevitable? I see some available on ebay for about $260. Is this a reasonable price?
