    R780 sleep/outlook issue

    I have an R780 core i5 running Win 7 & MS office 2007.

    The problem I have is that before I put the laptop to sleep I have to close down MS outlook because if I leave it open then when I awake it from sleep, outlook will not send/receive emails.

    Not sure of this is a laptop problem or a problem with outlook. I don't have thisissue with other Office apps i.e excel or word.

    Any suggestions?
