    R70 intermittent screen

    My Samsung NP R70 seems to have an intermittent problem with screen. Sometimes its on fine, sometimes the backlight goes, sometimes the whole thing which is most the time to be honest. If I connect it up with another monitor then it displays fine on there so It seems like its just some problem with the connection from the laptop to the screen.

    I'm not exactly sure how to take it apart to check all the connections and things like that which I expect is probably all it is. Anyone can tell me how to get it open enough would be great.

    I had the same problem, took the screen out and check all connections and its been fine since. remove the 6 small rubber covers around the screen, then the screws. the cover comes off by just unclipping it carefully from the inside edge all the way round.
