I recently got an Asus G60JX for my sis and after playing with it a lot we found out it's running extremely hot. We purchased some cooling pads (even made one) yet nothing could really cool this thing down... GPU temps were 80+ under load and even just idling at like 50-60 (this was even propped up with external cooling). It also crashes from time to time. Needless to say it was way too hot. Even my gateway peaks around 68 on max load with no external cooling.

So I want to know what kind of heat this thing puts out (propped up in the back/not)? Will it NEED a cooling pad? I find it lame needing a pad to use a laptop (my gateway gets warm, but a pad is unneeded).

Also I want to know how much better/worse the 2 cards will be. Geforce GT 330M vs Geforce GTS 360M.

Will this be able to run World of Warcraft/League of Legends on medium/high settings? I'm sure it can :p just throwing this out there.

And one final question about returning laptops to bestbuy. Should I uninstall anything or return it with everything still on it or what? I was thinking maybe reformatting it but it came with no OS disc.

    Thanks for your time :)

Edited: added questions about 2 games

Trusted Reviews has a useful review of the R780 (with GeForce GT 330M graphics). Comparison of the benchmark results at notebookcheck suggests that the 360M may be nearly twice as fast, but actual performance will depend on the graphics memory. The faster GPU will create more heat. However, does Samsung offer the 360M?

Notebookcheck also has a lot of gaming benchmarks for the 330M.
