Upgraded my OS to W7 from the original Vista.
Had occasional problems with a dark screen but after some time, lost the ability to brighten it up completely.
I think I have a wrong driver installed somewhere but there are no W7 drivers listed for this machine only Vista. Samsung said that EasyDisplayManager for Vista will work under 7 but no luck so far. Comes on OK but when screen dims after leaving, won't come back.
    Help please
    Adrian

    1. What options are listed in either the BIOS setup or the display driver or in Windows 7 power management? You may be able to display the auto-dimming.

    2. It would be worthwhile trying a newer version of Easy Display Manager in case that works better with Windows 7. It may be backwards compatible with older Samsung notebooks.
