    Hi Guys,

I want to upgrade the CPU on my Q210 (managed to get my hands on a cheap P9500) has anyone seen a service manual for the Q210 or is there a disassembly guide for it around?

    Any help greatly appreciated.
    regards

Yeah thanks guys, I had looked through that and as Tinderbox says it shows removing the keyboard to get to mem and thats it :(

Knowing my luck I will take the whole thing apart and then find an easy way of doing it in a guide!

    Hi.

Member "Manic Penguins" has removed the track pad, speakers , the whole top cover from his Q210, you might ask him if he has been able to get to the CPU yet!

Sorry I never got access to the CPU, its all pretty tight in there.
I never found a manual/tut for getting to the CPU, GPU, etc.

Seeing as your actually upgrading something, I'd play it by ear and just go for it. It will all be worth it :D

ha, well I have started so wish me luck. After removing the ODD I can see the CPU is on the underside of the motherboard so my guess is I have to take the keyboard, then top off and mobo out to get to it.
Why did I start this :(
