So i got myself a Q210, very nice hardware.. Just alot of backlight bleed wich make the colors loose there colors. Kinda annoying. It's mostly on the bottom on the screen and covers quite a large part of the screen. When pushing the panel back the bottom of the screen gets back it's color but then the upper part is shown in negative due to the viewing angle.
I went to shop to see some other models and saw a samsung R... model and the screen was kinda the same.. So this is working as intended or are there people out there that have a nice screen?

Backlight bleed is worst at very high brightness. The very bright settings are intended for use in very bright lighting conditions. Try putting the brightness down to 3/4. Most notebook screens have a fairly limited vertical viewing angle range but you should be able to find a position where colours and contrast are OK. If reducing the brightness slightly doesn't give you a uniform and acceptable display with a reasonable viewing angle range then you may wish to contact Samsung about getting a replacement.

Hi.
I have a Q210 and i always have the brightness at 50% or below, the horizontal viewing angle is great, the vertical in not the best, but it`s not a problem when you are sitting using it.
The Screen does not have a lot of colour and i turn the Nvidia digital Vibrancy to around 40%
I would have preferred a matt screen over this glossy one, The screen is extremely bright at max setting and you should be able to compensate for the natural loss of brightness as they age for a long time.
I dont like the way Samsung link the screen brightness to the Samsung display driver, and if you use any other driver from the Nvidia website it messes up the settings, their is supposed to be a patch but i have not tested it.

John.
