    Problem with Series 7 NP700Z7C - Power Fluctuating

    Have had th Series 7 17" Ivy bridge for a week and I'm noticing a problem. When plugged into elec.power the display will dim/brighten and I notice the led light / battery icon flickering. I think when on elec-power the unit is changing back and forth ( not always, but sometimes ) from power to battery causing the screen to brighten/dim.
    (battery is 60% display, power is 100% display - in power plan)
    I have time to exchange the unit but I want to be sure there isn't a software change I should be looking into first to eliminate this flicker.

    That is because it adjust screen brightness automatic depending on light situation, you can turn this off in samsung control programs under screen options. Don't have my 700z7c anymore due to wifi issues so can't really remember what the option was called, but first thing I did was to turn this off as I found it very distracting.

    Why not try uninstalling and reinstalling easy setting under the software tab.

    Reinstalld easy settings and I'm still getting inconsistant power charging. Sometimes it charges and other times is doen't. Still other times it switchces back and forth (amber/green) and the battery icon also switches from charge to battery.

    Unrelated:
    Also noticed that in sleep-mode the power led does not blink like the manual says it should. Do others see it blink in sleep-mode ?

    I think it goes back on Monday, if I can't get a solution soon.
