Posted in the series 3 11.6" thread:

when using battery - no matter what power management settings - I'm only getting a clock speed of 793mhz. Doesn't matter what the load is.

    any ideas?

Weird. It's not happening to me. I used cpufrequtils to set my default governor to ondemand, and it ramps up to 1.3GHz whenever it needs to, even on battery.
