The gallery on samsung.com/uk for NP900X3C/E/F models shows US layouts. Just laziness to take UK pictures or do they indeed come with US keyboard?

Laziness. Amazon pictures usually show a US keyboard image too.

Samsung realized that "one size fits all" does not work and became successful by releasing smartphones with different screen sizes.

I hope they will do the same with Ultrabooks and Notebooks.

A 15-inch and (even 17-inch) Haswell version of the ATIV series 9 with at least 1080p would be winners!

Totally, as long as they don't make some key mistakes:

    • They're releasing the new 13" with only 4GB RAM to start with... seriously Samsung, please do 8GB like Acer!
    • They use a _great_ IPS display instead of that TN panel they used on the old Series 9 15".

I'm convinced that was the reason the 15" didn't sell super well. I know that's why I didn't buy it--I saw the 13" and the 15" side-by-side and the 13" display blew away the 15" so hard I didn't buy anything (I'd rather have a 15" screen), when that was the only thing keeping me from buying. Now, a year later, there's virtually no 15" laptops worth even scoffing at.

Yeah, I'm a little jaded by the options we have in high-end laptops. Sniff, sniff. : ( : P

Ideal: 15" IPS FHD (or QHD) touchscreen, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Core i7 Haswell, 12+ hour battery life, and no WiFi issues. Is that too hard? Lol... I think it probably is. Gotta wait a few more years I think.

IT may not have 15 inch but 13.3 is not that bad... I still think the Ativ 9 has other really good and attractive aspects...

disregard post - I see the Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus NP940X3G-K04US has been released. Does have 13.3 and 8GB but weighs more than the older series 9 machine.... I guess we'll have to wait another year or two for a sub 2.7lbs, $700 i5, 13.3 ultrabook that has 8GB...

Hi, any update with this, i.e. an 8GB Samsung 13" ultrabook?

    thanks

There is the Sony Pro 13. Not sure if the fan issues have been fixed though. Agreed, an 8GB refresh of the S9 with 1080p matte is much desired, but it would probably only come with an i7 256GB configuration for $$$.
