    New upcoming Ativ Book 9 13.3"?

    I really like the Ativ's design and plan to buy the highest specs version, which is currently the NP940X3G-K04US (13.3 inch screen, i7 processor version). However, this model has been out for a year already; does anyone know if a new one is to be expected that I should wait out? I'm interested in the 13.3" rather than the 15", which a new version has been released for 2014 for some time already.

    No new models are listed in the database accessed by Samsung's SW Update program which means that nothing is imminent and I am not optimistic that you will see any new Samsung notebooks in the near future (if ever). As discussed in this thread, Samsung have already stopped selling notebooks in some countries (even though 2014 models were listed earlier this year but never arrived) and it is possible that they will stop selling them everywhere because it appears there was a high level decision some months ago when sales had dropped substantially to stop competing in the notebook sector.
