I'm trying to find a way to get the NP900X4B in Canada. US retailers won't ship it here, Canadian retailers don't carry it and Samsung won't provide me with any information.
If there is no reasonable way to get it in Canada, what are the major differences between the A and B series?
This A series ( Samsung NP900X3A w/ Core i7-2637M, 8GB, 256GB SSD, 13.3in LED HD, Win 7 Professional 64-bit at Memory Express) is the same price as the B series (on sale, $500 off), with better specs. i7, 256GB SSD. Between the two, would you go for the generic B, or the A linked to above?

The B series is thinner and lighter (also has a smaller battery) and has the 1600 x 900 PLS (Samsung equivalent of IPS) screen of excellent quality and viewing angles (see photos in my review - link in my signature).
Some versions of the A series have poor WiFi but that shold not affect the NP900X3A-B04CA which has the Intel 6300 3x3 antennae.
The main feature of the B that you might miss is the display, but 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD are both features not currently offered in the B or C versions.

Well, if there are any Canadians out there interested in this laptop, I found a web store that will ship it to Canada: J&R: Audio, Video, Cameras, Computers, Cellular, Home Office, Housewares, J&R Jr., Games, Music, Movies, Musical Instruments .
Ordered it yesterday, they have it on order so hopefully it will ship soon.
