If those are not valid options can someone help find a model that fits.

Upgrading the SSD to a higher capacity mSATA SSD is no problem - I had a 1TB SSD in my X4C. However, there are only two RAM slots. The main (and lengthy) discussion about the X4C is here. Upgrading to 16GB is possible but the X4C is very fussy about which RAM modules. One type which were successfully used are mentioned here.

My doubt was in the phisical dimensions of the ssd and the space on the notebook, were every millimeter counts.
Regarding the RAM my model has 8Gb and for now is more than enough but i really like this computer and i was thinking in further upgrades

Thank you for the reply. I will search in the forum for compatible modules for my Serie 9

I used a Samsung 840 EVO mSATA which is about 3.8mm thick and any other SSD of similar or less thickness will work. The length and width of the mSATAs is standard. I can't see any reason why the Kingston UV500 would not work and the price is very attractive.

I just needed green light from someone that had experience with one.
If i may one more question; i know that the kingston is at very good price, but everyone that i know and in all the reviews everybody "see" the Samsung Evo as great drive. Given the prices what would be your choise?

I've looked at some reviews and, while the Kingston may be slightly slower than some of the alternatives, it's the one I would buy because of the very attractive price.

You were more helpful in 2 days than 1 week exchanging emails with Samung helpdesks. Thank you again
