    NP880Z5E-S02UK support 4K external montior?

    I am planning to buy the 4k monitor, wil it support to my np880z5e-s02uk laptop?Will it degrade any 4k resoution after connecting my laptop?
    Also i need a advise, i am a office user sitting long hours in front my computer and usage is more on browsing & reading, currently i am having 24 inch 1920x1080 resolution monitor getting eye irritation in reading articles (especially small font pages) after upgrading to 4k monitor will fonts more clear compare to 1920x1080? Please advise

    No 4K support. Only 1080p over HDMI.

    I'm not so sure. 1080 is a limitation of the micro HDMI but the HDMI 1.4 specs indicate that a normal HDMI port is capable of 4k. The NP880Z5E should be capable of well above 1080. You would need to go through the thread for that family of notebooks to see what people have used.

    You will also need to either extend the desktop or turn off the internal display in order to get the benefit of the higher resolution.
