Good time of the day, everybody,

Could u advise, please. I have NP700Z5A bought in the UK and want to change a keyboard and bottom housing (.. at least, may be some other things if it worth it).
I would not change anything, but the screw holder that keeps the hinges in place disintegrated and when I open the comp, the hinge breaks the panels and perhaps will break the motherboard in the end ...

I see I can buy the backlit keyboard, described as "..Keyboard FOR Samsung NP700Z5A... US" and I am not quite sure that "US" option is OK:

    - will it connect to my laptop (bought in the UK)?
    - Will I need a special driver??

    - The most confusing part for me is that I have some cables apparently glued to my keyboard housing (FFC Cables or USB BOARD W/CABLE  and some other things...) The parts that the new keyboard is missing are labelled as 1,2,3. Will it work if I torn the cables from my keyboard and screw the 1,2,3 to the new keyboard? Or shall I buy the new 1,2,3 "things"? I am confused. Please, help

Can you confirm whether your photo is of the underside of the keyboard area or is it of the bottom?

The US and European keyboard layouts are different (European has one more key and some keys such as the shift keys are different shape / size). This means that you can't fit a US keyboard into the holes into the European version what Samsung calls the "unit housing top". On later notebooks (Z5B onwards) the official spare part is a complete housing top + keyboard as the keyboard is bonded into place. I don't know if the Z5A uses the same arrangement (a few people have replaced the basic keyboard unit and glued the new one into place).

Thank you, John, very much for your answer!

The photo is of the underside of my "keyboard" (which is according to your description shall be "a complete housing top + keyboard").

It looks like I can buy exactly the same thing (keyboard bounded together with the housing), just without "1,2,3 things". So, I really do not need to reassemble further my "top housing" to change the keyboard). Does it mean, the keyboard layout does not matter o_O?

If you buy the complete housing top including keyboard then the US keyboard layout doesn't matter (except that your fingers may get confused by the layout changes such as # where the £ key is and no £ key although you can use remapping software to change the key behaviour).

I would expect that your items 1 - 3 are transferable provided they are fixed by screws or adhesive tap and not heavy duty glue.
