I didn't know where to put this, so I apologize if its in the wrong section. So I picked up a Samsung 830 for my Samsung series 7 laptop (NP700Z5A-S0AUS) and I can't get windows to install. I'm doing the USB method, using the MBR method, and after the first reboot I get nothing but boot loops. I then tried booting off the usb key, which works as a bootloader, and takes me to the next step, but then I get this (photo below). I feel like bootmgr isn't being installed to the SSD.The 8GB onboard cache SSD has been formatted to NTFS and only contains Samsung setup software and drivers. Also, I used this exact same method on my Dell Latitude a week ago and experienced zero problems. FWIW, I do still have my original HDD in an external, so all the recovery stuff is on there. Any advice?

Edit: I also have a Windows Ultimate x64 disc that I use for my desktop. Is it possible to use that then somehow activate Home Premium x64?

    Some thoughts:

    1. Don't have the old HDD connected when trying to boot off the new one.
    2. Go into the BIOS and make sure that the new SSD is at the top of the boot list.
    3. Try to access a one-time boot menu and select the new SSD (pressing F10 on my NP900X3C at the BIOS screen gets me to this menu. I don't know what works on other models - it used to be Esc).

Thank you John. I tried all of that prior to posting and had no other SSD/HDD/DVD inside at the time of installation. It would seem that either my thumb drive/USB ports are meh or Samsung laptops don't like the installation via USB. Everything worked until after the first reboot, which is when I got that screenshot. Unlike my desktop, which uses UEFI/GPT, I had UEFI off in the bios, and used the MBR method, though it would seem as though no boot loader was installed. I went with MBR, because I've read GPT is incompatible with Samsung's Magician software (for now). I used the exact same iso/usb drive on my Dell Latitude and it worked without a hitch. In the end, I installed from external DVD and I'm up and running. Either way it's weird. Thanks btw :)
