There's a Windows Media Player plugin called Maxxplayer which I originally downloaded for my girlfriends' Sony Vaio, only to discover it's an XP-only plugin so it would not go on her Vista machine.

I've just installed it on my new blue NC10 and it has added loads of depth and volume to the sound in WMP - I really recommend it. It's not rock solid - it crashed the first time I ran it and I had to reload WMP two or three times before I could persuade it to switch out of 'bypass', but it seems to have settled down and the sound of the NC10 is much much better. And I really do mean LOADS better.

You can find it by googling maxxplayer, it's free to try, and from the official site is only $9 to register (worth mentioning as third party sites were charging something like $27).

I'd be glad to know if anyone else is as impressed as I have been...
