I have a samsung NP-X360 AA01UK bought in the UK.

Screentecink tells me they need to know the part number of the screen so I need to take out the screen to find out this.

    Is this really necessary ?

    According to this thread

they should know enough with this number BA59-2301A , is this correct ?

    Screentekinc has the following types

Do all these different models require different screens ??

Samsung may have had some different hardware configurations in the regional variations of the X360 but, as far as I know, they offered only one display option. They may have used more than one different panel during production but I would expect them to be interchangeable.

    John,

DO I really need to remove the screen to get the part number or could I call Samsung UK for that ?

The likelihood of Samsung UK knowing the screen part number is small. You might be more successful if you call one of the Samsung authorised repair companies. These are listed somewhere on the Samsung UK website (the info used to be under the FAQs).
