When I'm downloading something on my NP900X4D laptop during nights, I'm trying to decrease discharge rate to lowest possible. I created a costum power plan for it. I adjusted cpu ghz and other things to minimum energy usage, but i cannot go below 6W (when the screen is dark).

Is there any operating systems or tweaks that let me decrease the watt even more? Any ideas?

6W seems reasonable: The downloading will keep the CPU, SSD and WiFi (I assume that is what you are using) active. A wired network connection would use slightly less power than WiFi.

6W is already insanely low, u can be happy with that number ;) i do the same btw but my system is just way too powerful so i gotta stay happy with around 30-35W *lol*
