    Hi,

I made a mistake and uninstalled the Ati Display Driver.
Unfortunately, I can't find this driver anymore on internet... Too old now...

    Notebook : Samsung X60
Graphics Card : ATI Mobility X1400
For Windows 7 : so I remember that I had to use the Vista driver...

    Does anyone have it ????
I hope so... I have so many problems now with my screen...

    Thanks a lot !
    Have a nice day !

    Chris

For your future reference, samsungpc.com has an excellent archive of their drivers for their older notebooks. Here is the X60 page.

It is an official site. It was established by Samsung UK but is no longer maintained. Let's hope that they don't wipe it during some house-keeping.

Thank you for pointing out that the links are dead. I hadn't checked them. :( I have a disk with the XP drivers for the X60, but not the Vista ones. It looks like Samsung have done some housekeeping. The, Samsung global fdownload center lists the models and then says that no drivers are available. They clearly expect all their products of that age to have died. I believe that the X60 in my house still works, but the screen is very dim.

My X60 works fine since July 2006 ;)
I put Windows 7 on it as soon as possible, 2 or 3 years ago I think, with Vista drivers which were available at that time (although I never used Wndows Vista...)
And I still think that it's a top-class laptop. Not heavy at all (2.5kg), beautiful design (professional). I never found a similar laptop...

By the way, I ordered a Vaio Z2 three weeks ago ;)
