Hello, i own a samsung laptop, serie 5 np550p7c, which lately started to have some kind of issue with some keys. First i can't type uppercase e,d,c and £(which is the 3 key) with my right shift key unless i 1st stop to hold the shift key and keep holding at the same time the other key (e,d,c £).This doesn't happen with the left shift key. Normaly when u hold down a key button for a while it spams that letter/number/symbol and if u hold down at the same time another key, the second key will have the priority and show its letter/number/symbol well that doesnt happen with some key like w+e, a+d, x+d, s+c. The best one comes now, if i just press both shift key at the same time without holding, if i'm on a browser the site address on the address bar keeps highlighting on and off very fast, if im on desktop it keeps tabbing btween a random icon, taskbar's notification area arrow and the "shift to desktop" feature ( at the bottom right corner). I tried to remove the keys and cleaning them up but didnt solve anything. I have even format my laptop to 0 and nothing, by that im guessing that is an hardware problem and i 'd like to know what could the cause be and if it's possible to solve.

Thanks in advance and sorry for my english, if there is something that's unclear just ask and i'll try to explain it better.

It is most likely hardware. You might be able to confirm what is happening by going into the BIOS and typing in a password (this assumes that the password shows on the screen as plain text) but don't save the change to the BIOS. Or you can boot Windows into safe mode (keep tapping F8 just as Windows is starting) which loads a minimal driver set and see if the problem still occurs.

The way the keyboard is connected through a cable means that a connection problem affects a block of keys. Sometimes it can be fixed by removing / replacing the keyboard cable at the connector on the motherboard. I would first try that. However, if the computer is still in warranty and fails the test I suggested above then I would recommend you request warranty service.
