My Series 7 laptop has a sensor that tells when to turn the keyboard light on. The problem is it also decides when to adjust my monitor and it does a poor job. I'd like to turn that "feature" off :)

You can either turn that feature off

Easy Settings > Display > Screen Brightness. You can even choose how it behaves depending on being plugged in.

Or you can completely disable that sensor

Start > Control Panel > Location & Other Sensors > disable Light Sensor
