    I have a 9xb series 9

In attempting to clone the samsung ssd using an unused Kingston 120ssd in a usb enclosure, I was using Acronis True Image HD. I couldn't get a bootable flsh usb to work, so I went with a bootable CD. I got it to boot, but Acronis would not recognize the external enclosure SSD, so it cannot clone since it thinks I only have 1 drive (the main samsung ssd).

While it was in the middle of exiting out of acronis, I unplugged the external cd /dvd drive.

Now, when it reboots it tries to load windows but gets stuck on the "Starting Windows" page. The windows "logo" only gets partially drawn and the laptop is stuck like this.

I then tried booting recovery by hitting f4, and starts to go into recovery but gets stuck with a blank black screen.

I then tried booting into the recovery DVD that comes with the PC and again starts to load but gets stuck.

At this point I can't seem to think of anything else.

I just want to get back to my nomral Windows.

I can't see how any of that would cause this problem. Get your Windows CD, reboot and run the startup repair. You may need to go into the Bios to set it to boot from the CD or it may do it automatically.

    Edit:

Oh it sounds like you don't have a full copy of Windows, just recovery CD's so I am not sure you will be able to do this.

Maybe you could try rebooting in safe mode but you could also give it a long time to make sure it really does not load. I have had times where it took much longer to boot than usual before.

I just tried booting a full install Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit disc.

It starts with the screen windows is loading files on the bottom.

Then it goes to the Windows Starting black screen. Even before it gets to finish drawing the logo, it gets stuck.

Figured it out. I manage to get the trial version of the latest Acronis True Image Home 2012. I made a bootable rescue media on usb flash drive using the utility of the program. it booted fine on startup (hint: press f10 on startup to choose from boot menu). Once it booted I closed it down, it exited properly and then the laptop now boots to recovery. i was then able to full full recovery.

So my problem did have something to do with unplugging the dvd drive while acronis was trying to exit.

I wonder if Acronis had temporarily put something into the boot process on your Windows installation. It shouldn't need to if you are using a separate disc for running Acronis but it has the capability to clone a disc if installed on the Windows disc. That file passes booting to Acronis, which wasn't there, but was cleared when you did a proper exit.
