If you are in the US of A then the P560 seems to have a very similar hardware spec to the R560 including the 9600M GS GPU (unusual since the Samsung P series are normally aimed at business users).

    And there's a UK version NP-P560-AS02UK.

There's no new models in that number series listed on the Samsung download site. Samsung don't normally announce products being discontinued and new models usually appear in stock before they are announced on the Samsung website.

There seems to be a few of the R560 around, such as here or here.

You may be correct and the bigger etailers have sold out first.

I saw some R560 models with nvidia 130M. Could this be the new model or I missed something?

Notebookcheck puts the 130M below the Intel X4500 so I wonder if that selection is made for commercial, not technical, reasons.

I don't know how you've seen this but apparently it is on No.40 just two places below 9700gt. But there's one but. They took average of three scores of 3dmark06 and the average is 5816. But only one is actually a benchmark, other two are (I think) assumptions.
So the benchmark of Samsung R560 with 130M is 6449. i think that with the 9600GT was around 5800, so that's a 650 jump. Good?
    I hope I'm not wrong.
