Just purchased a new Samsung RC512 laptop. After installing my favorite Flight Simulator I noticed that the graphic card that was running on the simulator was an onboard Intel card not the Nvidia GT525M that was on the computer. Is there something or a software issue that need to be adressed to change the graphic card display?

I don't have Optimus to have first hand knowledge of how it works but I wonder if either (i) the program is not in a database and you need to add it; or (ii) the graphics load is insufficient to trigger an automatic switch. If your flight simulator is several years old then it should be within the capacity of the new Intel graphics.

Afaik whenever the graphics don't switch, you just need to open nVidia control panel, where should be a tab containing Optimus settings. There you can adjust the switching for each executable separately.
