Sorry guys, tried searching but I guess I didn't search good enough...

So here's what I did... I deleted all my drive to install Ubuntu without backing up my partitions (didn't know). I was able to recover my Samsung Recovery Partition and installed a fresh copy of windows.

My question is, can anybody tell me what are the factory/stock partitions the computer comes with? I'm talking about Samsung and Windows partitions and their sizes. I just want to leave it back to stock. My model number is np540u3c-a01ub

    Thanks in advance!!

Check this post for standard partition layout on Win8.x models. Note that there are two Samsung Recovery Solution partitions (at the end) and one Windows Recovery Tools partition (at the beginning). The size of the big SRS partition depends on the model.

Win7 models are different, with far fewer partitions, but I assume this is a Win8 model.

If you wiped your disk, SRS may not work, even if you somehow got the Recovery partitions back. It relies on a hidden link in the partition table which is easily lost.

If indeed you have an intact SRS Data partition (the big one) your best bet is to use the guidance in this post to fully re-create SRS on the disk, then run it to perform a factory restore. You will need an Admin Tool matching your SRS version. Member @dosibox shared ISOs of different Admin Tool versions later in that same thread.

Just know that it's a lot of work...
