Anyone know what the fn + F11 key the one with fan icon does? The so called manual doesn't say and it doesn't seem to do anything. You drop over a grand on a product and you don't even get a proper manual so as not to run on assumption.

Which means that it drops the CPU speed so there's less heat and hence the fan can run slowly. It's described in all the Samsung manuals I've looked at but I've not looked at the specific manual for your model.

Yea I found it (Silent or turbo mode) but it didn't say anything about, dropping the CPU speed. BTW the only fn keys that work has to do with the audio and I'm guessing it's because I did a clean install. Although I'm don't really care about it seeing I never use the fn keys, any cue which software re_actitvates them?

The Fn key driver is in included in the Easy Settings package. Did you install it? It does have some useful hardware control features.
