    I have installed windows 2000 in my laptop
    Its np R40 plus model, but the display is too bad.
    what to do now ?
    please help me in this.

    R40plus - where are you, these aren't yet shipping in UK?

    I suspect that your display is running at 1024 x 768 because the widescreen format is not recognised by Windows 2K .The ATI 1250M chipset / graphics is new hardware that Windows 2K won't recognise properly. However, I can't see a Windows 2K driver at ATI http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html. You could try the 200 series driver. It might work.

    Anyone else have other suggestions??

    Can you change your R40plus for the old R40?
