    DVD-RAM UJ8A7AS Firmware

    Can someone with this optical drive in his/her Samsung please dump and upload the UJ8A7AS firmware? I lost my original firmware backup and would be grateful for the help.

    Instructions:

    1. Download and unzip MataWinDump.zip: The rpc1.org files database » Mata (Panasonic) » Utilities » MataWinDump_1.02.

    2. Make sure there is no disc in the drive.

    3. Start MataWinDump.bat and follow the instructions. The dump tools creates two files of ~800kb size, an original and an RPC1 patched firmware file that can be flashed with the flash tool.

    4. Upload the MATADVD-RAM_UJ8A7AS_1.00.dat and MATADVD-RAM_UJ8A7AS_1.00_RPC1.dat files.
