Hey everyone, thanks for checking out my post and thanks in advance for any advice or help given. So here is the run down. Just bought a new laptop for school. Samsung series 5 NP550P5C-T01US and decided to ditch the HHD for a SSD. Did a clean install of windows 7 64 bit, everything is going smooth until I realize i cant install any drivers. Well technically I can, but it doesn't do anything. WIFI drivers do nothing. device manager sees none and searches none, tried activating the WIFI from the keyboard controls for nothing. ZIP, NADA. Am I missing a step here? Maybe download the Samsung software launcher or Easy Manager? I got all the drivers off of the Samsung website. I need some advice or some pointers. Also I noticed NVIDIA updates from NVIDIA website for the 630M does not work. REFUSES to acknowledge there is a 630 in there during hardware check of driver setup. Please tell me its defective to end the headaches and frustration.

I would put the HDD back in and, after checking that everything works, use the backup option in Samsung Recovery Solution to make a drivers and software backup disc which you can use after doing the basic Windows installation on the SSD.
