Found out it is a hdd hardware failure according to Samsungs troubleshooting guide.

Just seeing if anyone else has had this problem before i send it to the repair center in Texas.
Power indicator is on. Ac plugin indicator is on. Fans are running but the display is black. I've even connected the laptop with hdmi to tv with no luck.

I would have expected the BIOS screen to still work. What happens if you keep pressing the F2 key immediately after powering on the computer? And if that doesn't work then try entering the BIOS with the HDD removed (in case it has died in a way that is preventing the computer from entering the BIOS).

The other thing I would try is removing the RAM module. Any problem accessing the RAM can result in a blank screen when the BIOS tries to load.
