I was planning to switch to Linux for my work but then came across the problems with Nvidia Optimus on linux. I need a proper battery life on my laptop (which is why I chose NP700Z5C) but that is not possible on linux.

If you have installed linux, please share your experience on the NP700Z5C, things that work and those that don't, which distro you would recommend and why?

P.S.: Has anyone tried and tested the battery life on ttylinux for any of the NP700Z5C models?
