    Hello :)

Do all Ivy Bridge Series 9 15" Black (NP900X4C) can have their SSD drive upgraded?
    and what about the RAM?

I would like to get a NP900X4C and upgrade it's SSD to 256 and RAM to 16gb (or 8gb, undecided yet).

Couldn't see on Samsung's website an option for NP900X4C with 256gb and also high ram from some reason... ?
I would hate to miss something!

    Thanks!!

    Getting impatient?

The SSD is upgradeable within the current constraint of the highest capacity mSATA currently available is 256GB. 16GB RAM was tested in the X4B. I don't recall anyone trying it in the X4C but would be very surprised if Samsung decided to lock the BIOS to not support 16GB.

    great! thank you!
I don't undersand then, why don't samsung offer on theier website a configurayion with both 8gb ram and 256 ssd ? it's always either, never both. makes you wonder...

another question, right now I own the first generation Vaio Z (z790). I'm pleased with it and since I heard negative feedback about the S9 15"'s screen, I wonder, will it be worse then my old vaio z ?

    Thanks again!

    and this time: :D
