    The differentiators among the NP700Z5A line appear to be:
    8GB vs 6GB RAM
    7200RPM 750GB vs 5400RPM 1TB drive
    Win7 Professional vs Home Premium
    Intel vs Broadcom wifi
    presence of keyboard backlight
    presence of expressCache

    There are differences in composition of the same model number in different countries.
    NP700Z5A-SO3US has
    - backlit keyboard
    - express cache
    - broadcom wifi

    while NP700Z5A-S03CA has intel wifi and no backlight or expresscache.

    No, backlit/express cache is not on all 7 series.

    Certainly not on all 7 series, but my point was about the 5A versions - NP700Z5A vs NP700Z5B. My post was only about NP700Z5A versions (not NP700Z4* or NP700Z5B, etc).

    My NP700Z5A-S03CA doesn't have the backlit keyboard, or the Express Cache, and has a 750GB 5400rpm HDD.

    I knew it had no backlight when I bought it, but thought I was getting a 7200rpm drive with express cache :mad:

    On the positive side, it did come with the Intel Wifi adapter, with WiDi.
