I have an NVIDIA GForce 675 Graphics card on my laptop and suddenly the driver is no longer registering. It says my default driver is a "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" and there is no other option for graphic drivers. I've tried manually downloading an NVIDIA driver, restarting the computer (At least a dozen times), and even formatted my computer; and it still says I do not have a graphics card other than the default Windows one. I know for a fact that I have the NVIDIA graphics card because I've checked the drivers before and I have an NVIDIA sticker on my laptop. I noticed something was wrong when my games suddenly started running at 5 fps earlier today. It happened when I turned a Multisampling feature on in a game and ever since the graphics card has ceased to function or be detectable. I'd hate to believe that the thing has burned out because I've only had this machine for about 2 months. Has anyone experienced this problem or does anyone have a solution? It's a terrible feeling when you have a great gaming laptop and you can't game!

so long as you do not have the bios issue of an irrelevant string showing the memory may just be stuck. Shut the system down and remove the battery while AC is unplugged press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to flush all capacitors. hopefully when you reboot all is well. If not you may want to try and reset the cmos.

Edit; since CMOS requires disassembly do not do this unless Samsung directs you too or your warranty is out and you are willing to take the risk.

Edit 2; I hold no responsibility for using these but for those that want them.
