Given that there are 64-bit drivers and software for the R620, the hardware obviously supports 64-bit.

However, there's no indication whether it is 64-bit out of the box. You might want to direct that question to Samsung technical support.

thanks I just called them up and they said none of their laptops are 64 bit, so when I buy the samsung R620 JS01UK should I also buy a 64 bit of windows 7 ultimate? and install that as soon as i get the laptop?

In that link there are only R720 drivers also they are only for vista, I need for windows 7

I want to know if there are definitely 64-bit drivers for Samsung R620 JS01UK before I actually buy the laptop with the 64-bit windows.

If anyone can find them I would appreciate it.
    Thanks.

Try this link for the R620 drivers. Normally, Vista drivers work OK with Windows 7 (which will be able to handle most of the hardware from its own driver database) but manufacturers are progressively introducing drivers that are certified for Windows 7. It has taken Samsung a long time to come up with anything that is 64 bit specific, so Windows 7 make take a little longer.

I wouldn't recommend going out and buying a 64 bit Windows 7 until you are satisfied that 32 bit isn't good enough.

Don't all versions of Windows 7 come with both 32Bit & 64Bit version DVD's, my Home Premium did anyway!
