Well last night, my laptop screen shattered, leaving the screen basically hanging off of the henges and wires (one of those nights) My question is, ever since it happened my I am only getting 2 bars versus the 6, limited connectivity, or a red X over the signal (which I've never seen) The same thing actually happened to the last laptop I owned but it had no affect on the signal. What could be the problem? I'm not tech savvy at all. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

The WiFi antennae are usually in the top of the display in order to avoid interference from the electronics and metal in the chassis.

Either the antennae or the WiFi cables have been damaged during the incident.
