Hi, I recently bought the new NP700Z7C and now my laptop is running pretty warm with only one youtube video open and me browsing the internet. The middle to left side my my keyboard is warm-very warm. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Here is the temperature I took with speedfan.

As far as I can see CPU temp is 39C for the hottest core and 50C for the GPU which is perfectly fine for light loads. The 64C is probably from chipset or somthing like that which is not actively cooled - still nothing to worry about since chipset temp doesn't rise a lot during load - while CPU/GPU temps does.

Still not got my 700Z7C so I can't yet compare.
But it's a common "problem" to cram high performance components into an thin chassis, causing chassis/keyboard to get a bit warm.

I think I figured out the problem. When the laptop is plugged in, it the fan gets fairly loud and laptop gets warm, but when on battery, the laptop stays pretty cool and less fan noise as well. Don't know why this is really the issue though yet.

I think this laptop does get warm in the underside. But the weather is getting hot here as well. So, if the ambient is in 30s of C, this thin laptop packing core i7 is bound to get hot. Comparing this to Envy 17 which I had during the winter is unfair.... :)

I am fine with this much heat.
