    Hi all,

as the title says, i have recently purchased a W110ER from a friend. the current power brick scares me because the lead that go into the laptop has pulled out and i would like to replace it. as this is very old hardware, i cant seem to find a confirmed workable ac adapter. currently using the generic adapter he was given from Ibuypower. I have been looking this up for a long time now and am sorta at my wits end lol. will this work (questioning because clevo and sager was not listed on page)?

5.5mmx2.5mm centre positive barrel type connector (no pin) 19-19.5v matching the ampage of your current brick. Loads of them around, I think the antec universal bricks work very well.

@Meaker@Sager i am having good luck with finding chargers that look to meet the required specs however they ar "-c+" and not the other way around and how does one tell what connector is what, was thinking about going universal, is this a safe and good idea? was looking at either the 120W coolermaster (seems hard to find) or a targus 90W. As I am not really familiar with electric current (always scared me a little) can you get the same performance from a 90W as a 120W asking because Ibuypower supplied a 120W when it was sold. And lastly, what does "no pin" mean?

Been using a Kensington K38080US (90W) and Cooler Master RP-120USNA (120W) with this model.

You should choose Adapter capacity according to the CPU model in use.

No pin in the centre of the barrel like Dell adapters have by the way.
