Hello all I thought I'd add this if anyone who happened to want to do this upgrade ( would I probably not )

But if you have a P157SM and a decent CPU I7 49** and a spare MSI GTX 1070 MXM then maybe this is for you .

My reason for this was testing but results are decent enough with not much work.

Main thing is .inf driver mod very easy , clip some plastic from the center of the bottom housing and install and enjoy

Nothing done at all and if you look at the firestrike results it was sitting at 61° with standard fans so contact is super as far as I'm concerned. Going to try give it some OC on the core now

I don't tend to trust the readings from 3dmark for sensors, it can be funny.

I believe you, it's just i'm not going to assume it's accurate from the benchmark reports.

Nice GPU upgrade. I'll keep that in mind when my daughter and son in law will eventually need to upgrade from their 970m's. (which were upgrades from the 870m/m1000m) in their P377SM-A and P177SM-A respectively. That would be a huge jump when the time comes. They both are running 4810mq's.

The thermals along going from that 870m to 970m would have been nice.
