    Hi all

Sorry if this needs to be in the owners lounge please feel free to move or delete if needed

Basically I purchased a clevo p150em via PayPal

It arrived Thursday but due to work and kids I only got round to unboxing and checking over today,

Upon boot up (it has prema mod installed already which was nice) the system beeps slow but long beeps, the screen turns on and it starts to load windows then the GPU fan kicks in on full blast and just as windows is about to load to the desktop it shuts off

I can get into the bios but within the bios it shows NO VGA

The guy seems really decent albeit a little defensive

Have I been sold a duff?

Please feel free to check out my YouTube video of what happens

Seems like the GPU is dead... You might have been scammed...

See if you have enough time to use NVFLASH to check the card and dump the vBIOS if possible, sometimes its just a corrupted vBIOS.

I have a client who has a similar issue, but with a 900M series, P150 (Racer 2) with a Prema system bios on it (v2) and it beeps when the card is installed, and doesn't POST. But otherwise works without the card.
What should be the first course of action for him ?

Downgrade the system bios to a stock one ? (are there mitigating risks involved in doing so?)
Test the videocard in other systems ? Or should I just have him prompt support ASAP for a replacement, as it is most likely the videocard?

Does older Clevo's have a system of beeps indicating what the issue is, or such like in Alienware's or DELLs?
Could it just be the PREMA bios ?
    It also has a (I think a Prema VBIOS ) vbios 84.04.22.00.EC

Make sure they are on the latest release. If it's still doing that then yes contact the supplier. The stock bios has no support for the card.
